The KNOW Heartworms Contest Winners
The KNOW Heartworms Veterinary Hospital Awareness Contest recognized the top practices participating in the KNOW Heartworms campaign. Veterinary practices were encouraged to enter the contest to showcase how they used the KNOW Heartworms materials to educate their clients and community about feline heartworm disease and Heartworm Associated Respiratory Disease (HARD).
Dr. Jane Brunt Named 2008 AAFP KNOW Heartworms Spokesperson
AAFP past president Dr. Jane Brunt will assume the role of the 2008 AAFP spokesperson. Dr. Brunt is one of the leading feline practitioners in the United States, having practiced feline-exclusive medicine for over twenty years. In addition to her expertise in feline medicine, Dr. Brunt has a special interest in feline heartworm disease.
